My residence and studio are located in Brownsmead, OR. With my workspace surrounded by a quiet, lush rain forest, I am able to work in close contact and harmony with nature.

I built this geodesic dome, that my family and I live in, over twenty years ago. The dome is situated on a south sloping hill, overlooking a lush, green valley.

My main lathe is 100 years old. It is a wonderful machine with its wooden frame and pulleys driven by a flat belt. This lathe is from an age when work was accomplished at a slower pace and craftsmanship meant the touch of the artist's hand.
